Two more days! I will leave at around 11am on Saturday and drive down to San Diego to relax until we get a chance to get into the Coors Amphitheater! :) I am almost in disbelief that I'm even going to see them. I can't wait to see what it's like. What songs they are going to play, etc. I'll write as soon as I can about how the show was! :) woohoo!

Ok so I bought the album! I've been listening to it non-stop since I opened the package at 10:05 am after Best Buy opened. :) I have my braces off and I'm totally lovin' life right now! The Dead of Night happens to be my favorite song so far... Just because of David's voice when he does the quiet parts! ooooooh... Give's me chills every time! I got tickets to go to DEPECHE MODE at the COORS Amphitheater August 11th 2001! I'm in section 202, Row P, Seats 41 to 40! This is soooo awesome!

I get my braces off the same day that Depeche Mode's new album "EXCITER" comes out! How awesome is that???? I'm totally excited! This is totally perfect! I mean what better timing is that? May 15th is an awesome day for me!

I have been a Depeche Mode fan for quite a while now. I started obsessing over Dave Gahan when the album "Faith and Devotion" came out. Yet when I was younger my brother Brian introduced me to the album "Violator" which is still to this day my favorite album ever!!!! Once I got old enough to actually go to concerts Depeche Mode seemed out of the picture for good. My friend Rachel and I thought it was only a dream to go see them in concert. Then one day I heard on X103.9 that Depeche Mode was coming back with a new album. I freaked!!!! And I still remember the day when I was driving in the Mall parking lot and heard the beginning of "It's No Good" from the Ultra album. It was amazing! I knew it was Depeche Mode right when I heard the beginning of the song! Once I heard tickets were going on sale I stood close by the official web page for new details on the band. Then the day came for getting the tickets to their show. I got up and was waiting at 6 and amazingly enough I was the first person to be there. I waited and only a few more people showed. At 9 they started handing out wristbands. I was totally bummed. I thought for sure that my waiting was in vain. But luckily I ended up being the 6th person in line. I had all my friends give me money to buy their tickets. I went to the counter and by the time I got there the last section was all that was left. Right after I bought my tickets they sold out. After 5 minutes!!!!!! I felt sooo lucky! Nothing could bring me down. Though I had nosebleed seats I had gotten tickets to my very first Depeche Mode concert!!!! I was beyond belief. My dream of seeing them in concert had come true!
